Hastings U3A is a self-help, member-run organisation for people no longer in full-time employment. Members share their knowledge, skills and experience in a variety of ways through meetings, talks, social and group activities.
Hastings U3A is one of 80 plus U3As in New Zealand. It is organised by a Management Committee of volunteers, elected by the membership at the Annual General Meeting. Activity Group leaders are also volunteers who give their services to pass on their skills for the benefit of others. We learn from each other and help each other.
Most of our groups meet in private homes so numbers may be limited.
